Question by dont know what to do:

I was one the 3rd sugar pill of my birth control and had unprotected sex. should i take plan b or no?

This is the 1st time i have ever taking birth control and im on sprintec 28 days. i have been taking them all on time everyday for this whole pack and i got to the last few pill.(the white pills) and i was on the 3rd one when my bf and i had unprotected sex. should i take plan b or will i be ok since i take it everyday at the same time?

If you have only been on Sprintec for one month, you should consider taking plan b. Most birth control suggest using some back up method for the first month while your body adjusts to the new medication. While it may be unlikely that after a month you could get pregnant, no birth control is perfect and everyone is different getting used to new medication. Plan B would be a good way to reassure yourself. If you're on your third one, you should be starting your period soon as well so the odds are against you being pregnant, its up to you for that risk however large/small.
